Last night’s edition of the National featured interviews with former head of CSEC, John Adams, and a former NSA executive, Thomas Drake. The story discusses how vulnerable to potential surveillance our online information is and describes the way CSEC works with other agencies in the “five eyes”, including the NSA. Of particular note is John Adams’ belief that CSEC should be subject to more parliamentary oversight.
