The Globe and Mail received a passionate response to yesterday’s op-ed from Toronto resident, Jamie F. Reid. Mr. Reid discusses the importance of privacy in maintaining a democracy. “As someone who has worked professionally in the privacy and security fields for the better part of two decades, the lack of public interest in the democratic consequences of Canada’s role in the global surveillance game has been disheartening.”
